I'm thinking of cancelling. Somewhat because of the reports that the 10-speed may not be ready for prime time, but mostly because I'm bored and tired of waiting. I don't need the truck and honestly, some improvements are great and some are just "meh". I lol'd at the "10 speed transmission added for fuel economy" and it still sucks.

Maybe I'll go find something else that is more exciting and actually available for sale.

Cancelling? Negative. I am confident that they'll get the transmission calibration figured out. In the meantime, the workaround seems to be putting the truck in Sport mode.

Just reboot the damn things, they'll be fine for a few days, then they'll blue screen again and you can reboot them again. it's a simple cycle really.

Only if it gets to mid year and I still dont have my 17! Thats kind of how it is looking right now. At that point I might as well get an 18.

No way am I quitting now, it's built and waiting to ship. If you are that worried about a new truck that has been fixed before it was shipped that cool, at least you get info off of here to help out. But what about your wife's car, kids new car, where you know nothing? My dealer has 10 people wait on a list for next year, he only got 4 allocated for 17, and what makes you think if you did like I did and ordered in August , 1 allocation, that you will get a 18 before November, or December of next year? What's to say the are not going to have issues then? Just saying, you have to decide what is right for you.

New motor & trans is why I didn't jump in on the 2017. Want to see how things shake out. Inevitably there will be some issues. Hopefully Ford will address and correct rather than "unable to duplicate".
