I'm a free market sympathizer....I would love to hear arguments to dissuade me otherwise....and please don't use "price gouging" as a defense....this is not an essential item for life or day to day living....

I would be out of business if I was only making 10% GP.

Also not sure how ford works but salesmen at dealerships around me (friends work there) all get a flat $75 fee for a new vehicle, they get 25% the profit on used cars. Need the new vehicle points to hit their tiered monthly bonuses though.

Wow, great info, thanks. So even at MSRP, dealer makes ~7k on a fully loaded SCREW with 802 & Tech.

I was wondering why my dealer was willing to deal @ MSRP when other dealers want markups. Now I know.
