Introducing the F-150 Tremor

At first, I thought it was a typo, but it is a real thing.

I noticed it said they made the truck 1” wider with from the offset do the wheels.

seems to have a slightly taller tire than a standard f150 and a 1/2” additional offset. Wonder if they have any rubbing issues on full bump or while turning?

I would imagine if you get a lariat w/tremor package if thats how it works....You're in the raptor price range basically?

Is there a 21' Raptor? If so this would eat into some of their sales possibly? If not, then I can see this as a hold over until the 22' Raptor is out.

Either way, it looks good. Makes the regular F150 more sporty. The fact that it can tow more than a Raptor actually makes it a compelling option.

Sounds like this is a stand alone trim level so you wouldn't be adding a tremor package to a lariat. Article says that there are 3 different packages within the tremor.

GM still hasn't created Raptor competition so I guess this is just Fords way of burying the Trail Boss/AT4 lol

I can't tell without seeing any pricing information. It surely will be competitive, but where it fits between Raptor and an FX4 package will make a big difference. To me, this looks as though they made a list of all the Raptor specific features/parts that don't cost much to produce, had the design department whip up some logos, and called it finished. Not really a bad idea considering that's pretty much what their competitors do in the Rebel, Trailboss, etc.

Can't really tell without pricing and information on the options, but I wonder if this could spell the end of FWD option in the other trims? Or do people want trucks that aren't built for offroad per say, but can handle it if needed?

The regular 3.5 EB is the only engine option

No way I'd take that over a Raptor on 35"s w/ 4.10's rocking @ a minimum +50hp & +10tq over the "new" standard non-HO 3.5 that makes 400hp/500tq - but in reality we already know the Gen 3 Raptor is going to pack a version of the powerboost w/ greater than 430hp/570TQ - gun to my head best guess is the Raptor powerboost will make @ a minimum 450hp/600tq - but my money would be closer to 500hp/610TQ -

All that being said the new Raptor is obviously going to have a base MSRP higher than previous w/ all these other trim levels getting more options/tech/features & higher price tags as well

I wonder if Ford WILL put that 5.2 SC'd engine in a "Super Raptor" & possibly even toss in something even crazier like a beefed up version of the GT500 DCT!!!!!! Surely the 10 speed can handle the power (GM ZL1/ZR1/Z06) - BUT apparently the GT500 DCT is capable of handling huge power as well given the std specs + the fact many have already been heavily modified making 1000hp

Offering a 5.2 SC'd gen3 Raptor w/ more power than a TRX, a coil over rear suspension, updated/better version of Fox live valves, a full AL body @ significantly lighter weight (like 1000 lbs less min) AND a DCT w/ the possibility of still being able to lock the rear & put it in 2WD?

The TRX will be an afterthought
