I mean. It's literally what you said.
I spaced my paragraphs to match yours that I was quoting.

You said you ran a short corse with an F-150 with the fox 2.0 and method wheels which are way over sprung for such duty. A 2011 stock Raptor wouldbe better.

No, you can put 35's on a stock 4wd f150 with a level kit.

Source- Rented 4wd f150, installed bolt-on fox 2.0 coilovers on the front (to level it) and 35x125.0r17 short course race tires/methods and pre ran the silver state 300 in it. Put back to stock and returned the truck...
No it Says you rented an F-150 installed fox 2.0 is it my reading or your writing?!? Wtf man

1. Rented base 4x4 f150
2. Installed fox 2.0's
3. Installed short course race tires and methods, 35x12.50r17 tires, think LOORRS pro-4 tires
4. Pre/Fun run Best in the Desert Silver State 300.

So yes I read it correctly the fox 2.0 on an F-150 are over sprung for your short corse that’s exactly what you experienced!!!! Pogo stick nightmare. For ***** sake man.

My '20 Lariat was 67 sticker. It isn't a poor mans Raptor so much as a different needs thing. As someone previously mentioned, a factory offroad capable truck that surpasses the typical FX4 package but provides better towing and on road performance, as well as more subtle styling, is highly desirable.

Personally, my truck will either get Raptor LCAs and aftermarket everything else after the warranty, or I'll be looking at a Gen 3 Hybrid. Money is not an issue when you're spending 50k+ on a truck. Taste weighs heavily.

I wasn't on a short course. Wtf are you talking about. Do you know what the Silver State 300 is?

The truck was not a pogo stick nightmare. I've put those shocks on a lot different trucks, they ride great on literally all of them. In case you're not aware, this is the shock I'm talking about-

We've now come full circle to you not knowing..

Agreed. I know a few guys that have opted for new lariats or platinum over the raptor because they don't feel they need the raptor, and/or prefer the look of a more "stock" truck as opposed to wider fenders, 35's, etc..

Yep I have them on my current truck and compared to my raptor with fox 3.0 factory shocks they are absolutely over sprung and a pogo stick in comparison.

And let me guess it’s 300 miles in the desert, not a short corse you got me.
