Thanks again Yoda,

I know once you get that truck of yours you will put these things to good use. Feel free to PM me your first impressions of the kit, or share with the others if you would like. Just make sure you take that new truck of yours in the dirt with the stock setup first so you see how much of an improvement it really is.

Thanks again for your support Yoda!!!

And if anyone has any other questions or comments, fire away. I will be happy to answer them the best I can.

No extra lift, it will bring the back down about 1.5" and eliminates the wheel hop.

Putting off-road performance on the side for a second. The National Springs turn the truck into a much better and planted DD. Its amazing how much better the ride is on the street vs. OE springs

Thanks

Jarrett

Are you positive that it will eliminate the wheel hop??? Only complaint about this truck is the ******* wheel hop!!! I do not want to go changing to poly bushings and harder rubber durometer mounts!!! I love how smooth the truck is on the road and do not want to sacrifice that...

So, if the static ride height drops 1.5", are we losing or gaining any total wheel travel? Sounds like we lose a bit of compression distance but gain droop? I'm still trying to figure out all these concepts. Thanks for the clarification.

how could a spring stop the axle from hop? The hop is from the power vs traction. without drag bars all trucks will have wheel hop.

The wheel hop with the lift block and stock springs is pretty bad. I put Deavers with no lift block and a lot of the wheel hop was gone. There is still a small amount under hard acceleration but no where near stock. Don't know why or how it just is...

Its also caused by the rubber in the system... Raise the durameter of the rubber and it will go bye bye but, you sacrifice ride quality...

The lift blocks act like a lever on the leaf springs. And stock leaf springs are damn near to a mono leaf with overload spring. There is not a lot of resistance to axle wrap with this design then add the lift blocks just make it worse.
