I'm still down. I thought SW was starting a new thread to get interest going? I hope this idea doesn't die

Click on the asterisk * my home town uses better grad fuel to mix with.

I went back and searched some fuel threads here and found more info on the e30(posts by you). Is the truck ready to run on that straight out of the gate, or does the computer need to be tuned?

Also, does this really have anything to do with smog, or did that joke just go over my head? I know I wont pass a visual if I use long tube headers.

Also, if im not mistaken, you run long tube headers right? Does it throw a code with headers and aftermarket exhaust? At this point, Im considering just getting the full exhaust system from SW, and in 5 years when I have to smog it, just going to my friends smog shop and paying a little extra to get it passed. I just dont know if ford will try to bone me on the warranty if something happens to the engine. I know they have to show that the aftermarket parts caused the issue, but still debating the risk.

I ran one tank of 93 octane then switched to e-30 I have never thrown a cod first I had the headers and aFe put on no cod that was a month of running. I then had the tune put on and after that I took of the cats and at that time I shut the o2 off. I would recommend a tank of 91 before switching to e-30 that way the computer has time to do its thing.
