I can point people in the direction of all three if needed. Depending on your level of "rain making" I'm sure it's possible to have them at the same time.

I volunteer to host the "Pre-border crossing party" for the west coasters heading north!

It appears that the people coming from the west coast and those coming from the east coast's paths could cross at Grand Praire, AB if the west coasters chose to go the slightly longer way (I mean whats an extra few hours on a 50+ hour drive :Insane:)

Or the 'shortest' paths would cross @ 60.027193, -129.060135 where the Dease Lake Highway and Alaska Highway 1 intersect. AKA "Beaver Post" :ROFLJest:

Where would be the meet up point in AK? Anchorage?

We're almost neighbours, we can convoy with some others, I don't care which route we take, most will come up through Seattle and then my backyard :)

I think that'd be a good idea.

Guess I need to tell my wife to start traveling more for work to build up our Hilton rewards points... free hotels on the way there and back sure would be nice!

Same here @Jimbo. @Mrs. FarFromStock is a Gold Card carrying member this year, so she needs to step up her game and get up to Diamond for 2016.

@SuperRaptor Anchorage is probably the most reasonable place in AK for an initial rally point. It is the population hub of the state and is a good place to find and purchase any parts, tools, supplies, food that people may have found they needed coming through Canada and the eastern part of the state where there is nearly nowhere to get anything but food, fuel, and possibly a ratchet strap. Anchorage is also where I live and have tools and a garage to work in if needed. I also imagine that most of the local Raptors will come from either Anchorage area or Fairbanks area and meet or convoy to the start of the run. Some of the places we could go are north of Anchorage by quite a way, some northeast towards where you come in from Canada then north or south from there. Tok junction is the first major "crossroads" after you enter the state that lets you go in 3 different directions (4 if you count back to Canada) and it is about 4 hours from Anchorage so it's really not that far to backtrack if we decide to go that route.

As far as places to cross the boarder from the States there are a bunch. Washington alone has like 13 of them. I imagine most will come through Seattle as @CoronaRaptor suggested and then cross at the Sumas crossing but that's a personal preference and you all coming from the various states could work that out ahead of time and meet at rally points as appropriate.

I'm off Friday through Monday or the following Sunday through Wednesday so just let me know when you'll be here and I'll chill some extra beer and thaw out some moose steaks. @2014RubyRed:party52:
