Hey guys, I should be receiving my Gibson Metal Mulisha Exhaust in the mail tonight and am going to install it right when I get home from work. Only problem is, the guy I bought the truck from last weekend welded a glasspack in place of the original muffler (I know, I wasn't thrilled either), but my question is: Will I need to buy a clamp to clamp the new exhaust onto my existing piping to make this work? And what size is the stock exhaust piping, 3"? So I would just need one 3" clamp and should be good to go? Let me know if you guys can think of anything else I will need or any troubles I may come across because of the glasspack being welded in. Thanks in advance fellas!

Awesome, thanks a lot for posting the instructions! The instructions say to reuse the clamp on the front side of the factory muffler, since my glasspack is welded on there is no clamp, so will I just need to go to the auto parts store and pick up an exhaust clamp to hold the new system on there? I would assume it should be fairly easy to find and i'm assuming it would just be a 3" exhaust clamp. Thanks again for the help guys!

Yeah, should be able to pick one up for about $5. Or possibly use one from the factory tips? I'm not sure if that would fit. It should.

Did not even think of that. I really appreciate the help! I will let you know how it goes tonight and post some videos of how it sounds if I can figure it out! Thanks again!

Dont just go to the auto parts store and get a 3in clamp unless they sell a 1 1/4 SS band clamp. If they dont order it from jegs or summit, They sell SS band clamps.

Is the resonator still on the truck? If so cut the glasspack off as close to the weld as you can, you are going to need as much of the flanged section of the pipe, for the gibson to slide into, go to napa or any truck supply and purchase a 3" and 4" SS easy seal band clamp, the clamp gibson gives does not seal the tail pipe in the muffler very good. I have the exhaust on my 11. I have 2 sound clips posted, one of them you can see the exhaust installed before start, any questions feel free to contact me.
3" band clamp #733-5978
4" band clamp # 733-5976

Got the exhaust Friday, looked at the glasspack that was on the truck and they cut after the clamp, so the new exhaust went on as it is supposed to and sounds absolutely perfect! Thanks again for the advice guys!
