no need for friction modifier

There's nothing to modify in the E-Locker. It's metal to metal. The friction modifier is for limited slips that have clutchs in them. That's why you need the modifiyer to stop the clutches from sticking together.
Unless you took out the locker and installed a limited slip, good synthetic 75/140 diff fluid is all you need.

since the rear is an E-locker does for recommend the limited slip additive?

This is right out of a ford service manual and it says that it is NOT to be used with the E-locker rear ends!

The instructions call NOT to over fill because it will cause potential leaking. They call to fill between the low and high mark. I found that to be 4 1/2 quartz of oil with 6 ounces of Ford additive friction modifier.

I accidentally overfilled my F250 with the same rear diff cover and it leaked for two weeks.
