Installed Mag-Tech rear diff cover today

I installed one of these on my 2012 F250 and didn't realize they made one for our Raptors. Very easy to install. The only thing I needed to do differently was remove the spear tire for better access.

I used Amsoil full synthetic with Fords limited slip addictive.

What I like most about the cover (besides the fact it looks much better than OEM) is, it hold more oil and there is a magnetic dip stick and you don't have to remove the cover each time you need to change the oil

Anyway you could measure that for me (i want the "height" of the cover if it was lieing on the ground flast. I have a diff protector that i want to know if this will fit under it.

Man I've been wanting one of these for a while now I really wanna do this before TRR I need to change out the rear oil anyways so this gives me a good excuse haha

Come warmer weather I will do this. I have own toyota's all my life and every truck or SUV I have ever own has a drain plug in the rear diff. Why in the hell Ford does not have one on the rear is beyond me.

Very cool! Great mod---put one of these on the 3rd week I had mine. Do the tranny (larger finned) pan next and fill the whole system with Amsoil.

How much space from the top of the cover to the closest point on the truck? (in inches?)
