You have a link to this resonator? I have the 300 series with OE resonator dumped before the axle and there is some wild drone at 2000 rpms cruising on the highway.

How do you have your exhaust set up?

I've run every muffler BW has and can't make it drone for the life of me

I had the muffler shop make one similar to the one in this thread, but I used 2.5" pipe at 26"s. It cost me $100 total.

I had a Race Venom on my Raptor for a few months and really loved it,
Than I switched to a Widow Maker with an 8" turn Down at the end of the cab a few weeks ago and it's pretty amazing.
Louder at start up and idle, as well as up to about 1700 rpm's. The amazing part is(per my fiancé and 5 year old) the truck is quitter now than the Race Venom on the freeway. That is right until you put your foot into it, than it really wakes up!
Looking at it you'd think the new Widow Makers would by much louder cruising at 70-75 considering it's so small, but it's not

The Widow Maker is quieter at highway cruising than the Race Venom? How do you think it would compare to the 250 series? I'm on the fence between the three of them. I have it settled on center to center 3" and going to have it made into a lightning style side exit.

Truck is my DD and spend 30 minutes to and from work on the highway. Also take it on 2-4 hour road trips to local lakes and across the state. Looking for best sound when I get on it and want it to open up but still mild and subdued for highway cruising daily. What would be the best fit, the Widow Maker, Race Venom, or 250 Series?

I haven't run a 250 in 12 months, but I remember it being very quite. But with that being said Each person is different and they hear different things though each muffler!
IMO the new Widow Maker is the perfect muffler for the guy who wants to really hear the truck when he stomps on it, but not on a 3 hour drive!
