Samsung on the way here...how does one get the puddle lights apart to replace the bulbs with LEDs

And how do I get the dome cover off? I tied and felt like the headliner was going to pull down?

Puddle you will have to get lense off with dremel is what I did.

Dome cover comes off, there's 2 tabs on the back with 1 on the front. If you pull it slightly down from headliner you'll see the tabs. Put a flathead inside it and it should pop right off, the go to next side.

Thanks Nick...I think I can handle that on the Dome...I did not see anything regarding the puddle lense removal on your build thread...

I guess a Drexel tool needs to be ordered? What attachment do I use?

What attachment did you use to get the cover off? How did you reveal the cover back on and ensure it is water tight...

Thanks for your patience with me on this

I just used the dremel slightly around the perimeter of the lense, just enough to eat the glue. Just go slowly. There are other options to getting it off without a Dremel too, but for the life of me I can't remember them... Razor blade?

I used an oven at 250° for a few minutes then with gloves used a razor knife and scored it all the way around. Then with a small screw driver i gently pried on the lens all the way around. Just take ur time. Its not too bad.

My map lights should be in today, curious on how well they'll match new cargo...

Those appear to be for your vanity mirror maybe?
