it's good to see that a lot of others are fed up with this overall experience. i'll admit i went a little overboard and resorted to yelp and google to rant on these dealer practices, but at least i'm trying to do the best i can to share my experience beyond these sites that really only enthusiasts ever see.
i am now over the raptor (and ford for that matter) and am considering a tundra tss or trd pro. so far, the toyota dealership sales experience has been FAR superior to the ford one. after visiting dealerships of multiple brands, the ford ones were the worst. it's really too bad, this used to not be the case.
I considered the Tundra before the raptor. The TRD supercharger is NOT made anymore as they are all not Flexfuel units. They only work on NON-Flex fuel vehicles and that is all toyota is making now. So if you want a supercharger, you need to go with an older Tundra.
Secondly, so you know. The pro's just have a new suspension and a stamp. That's it. I have owned toyotas for the past 15 years and love them. The issue is that they are 5 years behind ANY tech curve around. That simple. Look at the interior screen and ability to do anything. Top of the line tundra is upwards of 60k. The screen between the gauges is 2 inches MAYBE and doesn't hardly display anything.
One of my best friends is the service manager at a local Toyota dealer. They, Toyota, knows they are behind the curve. They just licensed out the FORD SYNC software and tech for upcoming tundras and trucks. So they are trying but need to play A LOT of catch up right now.
