Yikes. I remember reading your story when it first happened. Always wondered what the outcome was. Sounds like your attorney advised you to stop talking?

Anyway, I wonder what would have happened if you took the same hit in a Gen II instead of in a steel bodied truck? Do you think you would have survived?

The 17 has a higher safety rating

Safety ratings are important but, in the real world, as a general rule, you want to be in the heavier vehicle (because inertia) and with more steel (which is why Ford relies on steel to pass crash tests with the aluminum F-150). Note: the Gen 2 Raptor doesn't have the steel crash bars that Ford used in the testing for the aluminum F-150.

Normally I steer clear of dumb stuff. BUT, Im sure he feels he would not survive if he were to be hit by a Suburban in a Gen 2 Raptor. Thats probably why he bought one...Im guessing you think he's suicidal. STUPID QUESTION
