I like the shovel and clamps where did you get them?

Those are quick fist clamps (original for the shaft and mini for the handle):

Quick Fist 10010 Original Quick Fist Clamp, 9-1/4" Length x 4-1/2" Width x 1-1/4" Height, For 1" - 2-1/4" Diameter (Pack of 2) - Amazon.com

Quick Fist 30050 Mini Quick Fist Clamp, 9-1/4" Length x 4-1/2" Width x 1-1/4" Height, For 5/8" - 1-3/8" Diameter (Pack of 2): Amazon.com: Home Improvement

The shovel is a Gerber Folding Spade with Serrated Blade:

Gerber 30-000075 E-Tool Folding Spade with Serrated Blade - Amazon.com

High quality shovel and the clamps are strong and very useful for many uses.

Mid perch done. If you are new to TRR, and you are driving on stock perch- have a new skid plate lined up....just sayin

Also went and bought 2 Simpson Racing Bandit helmets from them yesterday- always nice to have family working there...

Now I gotta get RV ready for 4 smelly guys, and hope there is enough alcohol so we don't much care.

See y'all Friday night-

Gotta dig out the go pros...

Raptizzle- can't wait my man! Looking forward to new stuff!

How do they attach to the truck? Self tapers

edit I like the looks of these side tie-downs could bolt right to them. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?fo... Raptor&txt=&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_13660105014307

I pre-drilled holes and then used sheet metal screws. Self-tappers may work, but I had a really hard time trying to get them started, so I went to regular metal screws.

I haven't jumped since I installed the ax and shovel, so I don't know how strong they are yet.
