I’m curious about this as well. I start my truck up in the morning and back up out of the garage and with the windows up there is a very subtle “clunk” or something it’s not a hard clunk but just like a shifting noise. I everything is torqued to spec while it was on the ground and not in the air.

Yep, I hear it at slow speeds, forward and reverse.

I"ve had Icons @option 1 w/1 inch SDHQ drop shackles on for a few weeks, I'm just under 43" rear and around 41.5" front (2.25" collars), hoping the back settles down some more as I'd prefer a level rake. As far as any noises, I get a slight noise while backing out of the driveway into the road, but nothing annoying or while under normal driving or even over speed bumps.....my .02.

Ya it's not annoying really at speed or anything it's just "there". Not being picky here but be great if it was silent back there.

Has anyone had their LIVEVALVE shocks re-calibrated after doing these suspension changes? Apparently the rear shocks can make this odd noise we are describing and once they are re-calibrated they are in their proper zone?

never heard of that and I never had my fronts or rears recalibrated yet. I have an appt with the dealer coming up soon since my Live valve main module is bad

My set creaks and pops like its an old 1960 truck.

I might have to rebuild this with isolator pads and liners. And most likely add a leaf spring keeper since one side has misaligned springs already.

There is also, as far as i can tell, a small w-bend going on on the drivers side. it may be my eyes but i have to check those later.

Oh, and the u-bolts. Its been months and i still have to torque the u-bolts on the drivers side.

At this point, i'd recommend that people get Deaver Springs instead.

I second. Buying Icon’s was the single worst car/motorcycle experience I’ve ever had. Garbage quality, shit quality control, dumb techs, and bad customer service. Go Deavers.

hey guys

i have the Icon multi leaf pack at option 1 very happy with the stance and no more wheel hop.
we are thinking of buy a travel trailer 24-26ft, would like to keep dry weight at around 6000lbs ,tongue around 600 pounds will the leafs be ok at option 1 with a weight distribution hitch or should i go up to option 2 , im worried about ride quality at option 2 when not towing , usually ride empty bed with Tourneau cover

I have mine in option 2 and honestly with no load in that option it still rides really nice. And then when you put some weight on it it is even smoother. I would suspect that option 1 with a trailer will squat you quite a bit and may make ride quality not so nice being so low in the suspension

Yo!

I swapped from opt1 to opt2 and no doubt love the way the truck rides. Retrax tonneau and pro eagle mounted in bed and it’s solid. Now you will sit higher in the rear (I sit at 43’’) for sure going to opt2 so if you plan on doing that might want to consider changing the front ride height, too?
