Yes it does but it doesnt seem to be a problem they dont squeak.Does it attract sand or grit? I am leary of putting grease or oil on leafs because of just attracting grit.

This weight should put you back to stock height in the back. The other day I had aprox. 480lbs in the back between ATV and ramps and didnt noticed much drop on Option 1. I would say it went down maybe 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Back was still higher then front since after Icons Option 1 installed it went up about 1.5". Thats with Eibach springs in front on 2019 with Live Valves. Thats how truck sits empty. Are people experiencing much sag at Option 1 with 500# or so in the back?
What’s Overkill?Has anyone done the Icon hydraulic bump stop kit with these and not just the pads? I feel like I'm falling down a "rabbit hole" - I'll be mostly pavement driving but it'd sure be nice to have the performance there on the rare occasions I do OR. Or is the hyd. setup just overkill?
Did you do the bump stop pads or hydraulic bump stop kit?I installed Icons set at option 3 this weekend and wow is it high without anything in the back almost 4"! If they sag a bit that would be great but I think a set of RPG drop shackles are needed. I went option 3 because about 6-10 times are year I have about 700lb to carry and on my Gen1 the Deavers +3 HD they sagged a ton after one year.
So this time I wanted to try Icon and set to option 3 the ride is firm like a euro car over expansion joint and wash board. The rear does not skip around at all and most of the axle hop is gone under acceleration. Just like my Gen1 rear springs made a huge difference in a positive way loaded or not.
I do have Eibachs up front and they are also a great mod. I liked the Gen2 in stock form for daily driving although it was a bit unsettled in the rear on wash board and small bumps, tire air pressure made a big difference. I just like a bit firmer ride on the street and increased sag resistance when loaded. These springs do give you more confidence and control off road for sure. I think if you are not carrying lots of weight that Icon option 2 and Eibachs would be perfect.
I have a Live valve 2019 and I have not noticed any issues with the shocks and the higher ride height.
I have not seen any posts about option 3 so I hope that helps and if you have gone option 3 post you experiences.
