Hey trey, this may be a stupid question but what frequencies are best for general conversations at a non event? Like when we go to the Everglades and 4 or 5 of us have these radios from ur group buy. Thanks much.

So all the frequencies have the same power and range? It's limited to the actual transmitting device and location?

So we don't have to worry about these frequencies being used in our local areas, and transmitting on some companies frequency? Ps i just got both of my radios. They are awesome! My antenna box was damaged but the antenna looks fine. Thanks again Trey!!!!!

The icoms all transmit at 50w. Most commercial radios have a pl code on them. So you can hear them but they can't hear you.

I am planning on doing another radio order this week if anyone is interested. However, I will not be ordering antennas anymore. If you order a radio, I'll provide a link on a suggested antenna. It's too hard, and I'm having too many issues with the antennas.
