I heard from the beginning it was intended to be a 23-25, 3 year run. I have no reason to believe anything has changed.
It will ... Ford may not have TRX competition next year in V8 but why stop ... people still want V8's so actually I think it will only get harder to buy as TRX crowd will have nothing but a V6 option in 25--they are already crying over on the TRX forum about V6 vs V8...that will be a lively forum next year lol. Hopefully Ford will do a 'last edition Raptor' V8 and tweak it to some stupid HP, charge $150K (plus dealer $75K ADM) and let the real fighting begin for one.

Let’s be honest, the only reason 99% of people bought a TRX was for the V8. That truck is dead without it.

That's what they said about Raptor when V6 Eco came out...it will sell, but V8 crowd will have to come to Raptor in 25 if that's what they want.

Yes, they will do that, in 2025. CAFE requirements increase again in 2026, I guarantee the R’s last year will be 2025. Unless we get a president that undoes everything, then it’s all subject to change based on market demand.

Honestly

The lady said I should consider getting an R. Then I told her welp, there goes the cash for the ring and then she went back into the living room and turned on Judge Judy.

Nah in all seriousness... I told her when both of our debts are paid off (bad debt), I would consider an R but I am keeping the Gen 2 because I love it.

If people would stop paying it the dealers would stop charging it. The consumer has the power if we stand together.
Totally agree, sucks what dealers are getting away with..(Same S*#^ going on with the C-8 Corvette!!)
BUT..with that said....a lot of people dont understand MSRP,the "S" is for SUGGESTED....and as long as there are people with more $$ than brains,and/or just have to have the newest toy on the block NOW.....the dealers will continue to hose them.

I paid over MSRP…… I hated it, still hate it, but I wish I would’ve done it sooner as the R just absolutely CRUSHES IT! It’s the most fun I’ve had with any vehicle. Ford should just sell straight to customers as Dealerships suck!

Yes we know. All that being said the dealers are, by extension, the factory.....since you cannot order direct. Something just doesn't sit right with them marking things up above the listed MSPR simply b/c they can. Suddenly their place in the market is not so evident. Now of course any third party that gets a vehilcle can sell it for whatever they want, but part of having a special relationship with the ford factory gets AD's access to all sorts of goodies.....floor plans, marketing, service deals, etc. Am i pissed that 150k is simply more than i will spend? Yes. Would i be ok with it if it was simiply all 3rd party dealers and sellers doing it? Yes. Am i ok that its the factory also? No.
On a related note, If you had to make up for sales performacne shortfalls or cashflow by going above MSRP....you are one dealer too many and your doors should close.
