You all hope for the best expect the worst.. Its what comes of paying people sub par wages.. You get what you pay for, from the dealerships point of view. I do camera systems at several dealerships and I can tell you that people pull things on dealers everyday I have watched the video. In one case a guy came in demanding that all the expensive trim pieces were removed from his truck while in for an oil change. Going back and reviewing the video none of the trim he was saying was stolen was on the vehicle when he dropped it off.. I have a camera right in the service drive to screen vehicles for this very reason. People complain about dents and so forth they say happened during the oil change and then after reviewing video it was there when they dropped it off.. For one dealer he estimates the cameras have saved him over 20,000.00 in claims of damages that were present at the time the vehicle was dropped off... In one year... So dealers do have a definite question about who damaged the vehicle.. I really doubt its the case here..

I'm going to give them a chance to make things right before I give out their name. I should have known better than to go there. They're one of the dealers that marks up raptors 5k above msrp. And the sales guy I briefly talked to tried to make it sound like a good deal since other dealers mark them up 10k.

I'm right there with the op about being OCD about my truck and it's sad professional businesses can't take more pride in the work they turn out. Hope they make it right for you.

This is my main issue with Ford, they just are pathetic at anything quality! On my 2012 i had new tires installed and the tire "kid" literally scratched all four rims into the clear coat. That was a major fight to get them to replace them. Carelessness and Ford sloppy is why i will probably never purchase a new vehicle from them again!

Just found another problem. No sound out of my front left tweeter. Wire must be disconnected. I'll probably just fix it myself. Should be simple enough.

I think I figured how they managed to do all this damage. It must have happened from either removing or re-installing the head-liner.

That isn't a ford problem, it's a dealer problem. In my area, we have a bunch of different dealers. Some of them are off the charts amazing, others are beyond horrendous. I just make sure I go to the dealers that are amazing.

Dealers are not Ford. They may represent Ford, but are not owned by Ford. And they've got themselves quite a lobby that prevents manufacturers like Ford from selling directly to consumers.

So hold them accountable, and blame Ford for things they can control. And reward good dealers with your business, and avoid the bad ones.
