Leaning towards the Roush 650 kit+ billet gears as well.
Got another day to decide...lol Damn Whipple is tempting too.
honestly I have been up in the air about what kit for a long time. I was set on roush. then Whipple released the Gen 3 and it was a whole new though process. so digging into it Whipple revamped their tunes. no one has done that at all no matter what they tell you. So that set me over the top to Whipple again. I was going roush for the low end power and cooler running SC. but that all changed like I said with the Gen 3 and new tune.
Mine just got delivered today. I am hoping to install it this weekend but prob have to wait until next. I ended up paying 8250.00 for everything. including the hand held. I already have one from 5star but just getting it all done ready to go no head ache. Ill pull of my air cleaner and tuner and sale them super cheap Im sure but make the system even cheaper.
Im also convinced in my small brain the oil gears do not need to be changed if you have the right tune. I, again I say I cuz just what I think no proof. I think bouncing off the rev limiter causes the gear to fail. My installer said it happens all the time in mustangs I researched it and he was right. I think the same thing is/was happening to the trucks. zero proof here just what I believe after researching for hours on days.
I hope something in there helped you lol and good luck.
