jan 30th at 10:00am I have appt with Whipple to dyno tune. Just in case anyone wants to stop by.
the lil issues I have (surging and truck dies) I already figured out how to not feel them when driving but of coarse I am still going to get it all fixed I hope with the tune. you guys that do not have shit 91 octane gas def get the 78lb injectors if you get the gen 3 stage 2 Whipple has it as option. I figured while I was on the dyno getting a proper tune I would throw the 3.1 pulley on but tuner said no go with the 91 octane.
I'm guess the tuner will get some more power out of the tune also. its fast but only in certain RPMs (part of the surging I'm guessing)
but its funny to see peoples face when the big tires spin. my wife hates talking to me on the phone now. she says all she hears is that stupid super charger. couple of buddies have said the same thing. what the **** is that noise? lol to funny.
Ill post again jan 30th for the over all opinion. but right now I would say 6-7 out of 10 on scale of worth it.
def a 10 on whipples customer service. hopefully a 10 on worth it scale when they are done.
if JDM wasn't so far out on providing tunes I would have that right now, but ill get in with Whipple same time the tune would be here so I will wait. no matter what I will get JDMs tune even if I am happy with Whipple just because I have to know my self. I will also check out a place called ID Motorsports my builder really likes them. ID will only be if Whipple can't make it right.
