Ooooooooooooo you better look out now Falcon you just call the FORD SVT F-150 RAPTOR a "DESERT REACER" a totla of three times in your message the Frogslinger is gonna get after you. and I am from the Mid-West and i would rather have a tractor pull me out of the mud instead of a dodge or a chevy. where are you at in the mid-west?

Also to BSTONER59: you should have taken a pic or something that would have been awesome to see.

a couple of weeks ago I visited my dentist in Brentwood, CA

Lemme understand this - you were here in SoCal Raptorland, in our backyard, and you didn't let us know? We would've met you and certainly would've invited you to our hillside Raptor home for some barbecue and beverages.

Note to all members reading this - if you're coming this way you should let us know so we can welcome you to the home of the Raptor, SoCal!

Where did the term ****eating grin come from?

The phrase can be defined, but its origin is unknown. The aue newsgroup has had threads on this since 1992. Here's the link...

I once walked 5 miles thru the mud to get a John Deere 4220 to pull out my 69 1/2 Ford 3/4 ton - rather than let a Chevy hook up to it. No Dodge could even make it down to where I was stuck <G> [I've got to sit down and tell you guys THAT story sometime. It's the tale of two brothers, one wicked and the other the salt of the earth... It involves my Ford 4x4... a combine, a car thief from Kansas City... an 12 point buck and 37 yards of barbed wire wrapped around my front axle. NOTE: NEVER stop in the middle of a mud hole to find out "What the f**k is that noise??"].

:picard:

Since you are from the Midwest... I am sure you will understand <GG>.

I am living in the Missouri Ozarks... about 80 mile east of Springfield. And I ain't skeered of no Frogs... we eat their legs down here <G>.

Did they give any word as to how much the travel should change?

said I may gain some up travel...droop travel shouldn't change. This is the first Raptor they have put springs on other than the Raptor R...so we will see how it goes. Again this is strictly for you guys in the name of science. If you could remember that when/if you see my girlfriend that really help me out ;)
