I am PISSED so yesterday was at a friends speed shop and got to see a ford mustang GT R package WTF there are like 50,000 engine options for the mustang and we can't get a V8 raptor??? so far all we get are a eco boost take it or leave it?? I'm dying over here; yes I am STUPID for selling my 13 but it was something I had to do; I looked for a used raptor but they are going to either very close to original price or even higher so I'm not gonna do that. If Ford looks at these forum please offer some sort of option for us; I know the 6.2L may not even fit in the new model but I think the 5.0 will and I believe that is what is n the Mustang

Technically speaking the Ford Performance variances of the Mustang only have one engine option, the GT350 and GT350R exclusive 5.2L V8. That gives the Mustang as a whole a total of 4 different engines. I'm sure out there somewhere in neverland there is somebody wishing Ford gave the GT350 and GT350R an Ecoboost engine. They either have to take it or leave it.

Same goes for the Ford Performance variance of the F-150, you get the Raptor exclusive 3.5L TT V6 which is a version of the Ford GT's engine. That gives the F-150 as a whole a total of 5 different engine options. Just like you there are people who wish Ford would put a V8 in the new Raptor. Again though, you'll have to take it or leave it for now.

Well, I hope you were able to sell your 13 for the "like new or more price." If you did, then I don't see why you would be against paying what they are going for today to have what you are looking for.

hello sorry for the venting lol it was just a post from a fun evening out and seeing some great cars

let me address some of the responses
Yes I did sell my 13 for a good price; actually made some money back then
as for the mustangs; there is a big difference in the vehicle I seen and your run of the mill mustang. That is one nice machine. to clarify it had that voodoo 5.2 motor. that would be so nice in the 17 raptor. anyway back to waiting and se what ford offers and back to my old Land Cruiser
