No - Are you sure that you reinstalled the foam cover properly and it is all the way down? Maybe try looking into that and/or try adjusting the angle of it a little and you should be fine. You only need about 1/2” or so.

Is there more than one way to install the catch can? From your earlier photos, it does not look like the cover is in the way.

Yeah man and I spent a good hour trying to figure out how to run the hoses under the foam cover so that its not doing that but I cant seem to get it right. I cut the foam piece out it told me too on the instructions but like I said it sits right up against the catch can so I cant screw it off without actually removing the foam cover. The foam cover is on all the way but its like somethings not sitting right underneath but I cant seem to figure out what.

Maybe readjust how your lines are running - when I first reinstalled the foam cover it stuck up on that side too. A little adjustment on how the hoses were run and it was perfect.

The only adjustment thatbyou have is either how you run the hoses (there is some wiggle room) or if you keep the can level or on an angle. Keeping the can on a slight angle (upwards to drivers side) gives a little more space as that is how the foam cover is shaped too.

Definitely have to readjust the houses. I had to play with them for awhile as well to get them into a place where I didnt have to remove the foam cover each time. Part of the issue was the houses, the other was making sure to reposition the wires as described in the directions.

Installed mine the other day. Truck only has 4756 miles on it. There was a very slight oil film in the factory pcv tubing that was removed.

4k miles since I checked it . Seems to be a combination if oil, fuel, moisture... really noxious stuff . VERY glad that's not getting sucked into my engine ... poured it out on top of a fire ant bed. They didn't like it . ee5bb80a045ef4bfe2df6b026b4c8e07.jpg3573ada01ee598d4383a36b10461646a.jpg
