So I have been seaching all over the forum and other sites and wanted to get our communities input on these Hybrid BOV.They say its adjustable and works as a Bypass valve and blow off valve depending on how you adjust it.With the issues of upgrading the BOV and the ECU not getting the correct air input for a short time and running rich is this a possibility for our trucks that can fix that issue?

If some1 has installed 1 PLEASE chime in and tell us how you like or dislike it...

It seems from what I can tell that most are using this on Subaru,Honda, and Mazda's!!

IMO an aftermarket BOV/BPV on a raptor is a waste of money. All you have to do is remove the return hose and cap the hole on the intake and you're good to go. The return air is not metered so you don't have to worry about running rich. These trucks are not near as bad as subarus when it comes to mods.

Pretty sure the biggest difference here is that the Raptor is speed density vs say a subaru's MAF (Mass Air Flow) for tuning. On a Subaru you had better run a normal BPV unless you are specifically tuned to have a BOV or a hybrid 50/50 or you will mess up your AFR's off throttle. Speed density tuning doesn't have this problem since like ColoradoBoss said the retrun air isn't metered like in a MAF system. Running a 50/50 or full BOV on our trucks would honestly just be for a noise maker unless you are pushing some serious boost pressure that would require you to upgrade the stock BPV.

Not needed and seems a solution in search of a problem.

Thank you

My 2 cents, a waste of money and performance. I'd stick to recirculating valves as they maintain slight pressure instead of releasing it all back to the atmosphere. I admit they sound awesome but I would never add them to my rig. Much rather buy a catch can

Catch can was my 1st purchase made!I even turned my boss onto it and bought him 1 after researching them and how vital they are.

He has a 2017 Rator thats slightly modded.

The stock bypass valve is meant to handle stock boost pressures.

it is plastic so I’d rather run one that will hold higher pressures if tuning the truck.
