I'm kicking around the idea of picking up a new Raptor. I live in Phoenix and it gross here in the summer, typically 110-115F during the summer months. I had a new 2012 F150 and the AC in that truck was barely adequate, basically never came off max fan speed, was the main reason I sold that truck. Currently have a 22 Yukon duramax and its AC is phenomenal, absolutely freezes you out but I miss a truck and love the way the 3rd gens look.

So how's your AC in the nasty summer months? Does it stay cold in traffic? I tried to search but could only find threads about issues/problem with them not blowing cold.

thanks all!

I'm about less than 10 from the US/Mex border and basically as far South as you can physically get in the great state of Texas, and I can assure you with zero hesitation that even in temps well above your 110F figure and 100% humidity, the A/C in this truck is unbelieveably cold, and gets that way very quickly. I had read/heard Ford's had the hands down best A/C systems but that was clearly an understatement.

I just came out of a new gen 1/2 ton Ram Rebel to this 24' Raptor and bro it isn't even remotely close to comparison. That Ram struggled to even get to the set temp on Auto and often was never even able to achieve it at all over multi-hour drives through TX.

To hammer home on your concern, this is first VEHICLE (cars trucks etc) I've ever owned out a quite large amount and even including exotics where the A/C seats actually work, and work incredibly well. Ford's got the A/C thing licked I promise you.
