Being hard of hearing, I don't always hear what others say and my wife thinks she has to repeat, he said your truck is bad ass. Can't we go anywhere without people saying they like your truck but deep down I think she loves it.

As for the flat iron, that shit doesn't belong in a Raptor unless your doing some wiring. Do they even get hot enough to melt solder?
I suppose to each his or her own. I’ve never had a flatiron or the like in any of my vehicles. I like to keep my vehicle at least somewhat orderly. On the other hand, my big sister, in the mid 90s, commuted to med school for 4 years, never without her curling iron and always got to the other side fully hairstyled and made-up lol

Of course if I had kept the husband, he would have hated my Raptor; it’s too badass for him to handle - can’t have the wife drive a badass vehicle you know!

Not the only reason, but at one point while married, I told him my next vehicle will be an SUV and he was adamant that I’m keeping my new car for at least 10 years. Got rid of the husband and got my first big vehicle (Expedition) and never looked back. Best decision ever all the way around!

Love this thread!
Had a BEAUTIFUL tuxedo black '13 F350 Powerstroke used to pull the 5'vr. She said was too big didn't drive it. Sold both. Built a badass square body but a little too wild to pull the boat so had to go. She hated it. Told the wife I wanted to get a new F150 and she said "fine but it needs to be a Raptor". Well ok.... :)
She drives it rarely which is fine by me but when she does she says it makes her fell badass. Of course, her '17 Explorer Sport is no slouch either...

My wife loves HER Raptor. The last 3 weeks I've had it in the garage to detail it. Only way I can spend any time with it. Funny she hasn't ******* why it's taking so long lol. I don't get to drive it that much. She takes it to work usually. I had her do the Raptor school (she had a blast). Now if I pick up the pace off road she doesn't say anything. What I need to do is restore the 69 Camaro in the garage and she will move to that so I can get the Raptor.

Ex-wife hated the idea of me getting a Raptor. Said Raptors are “stupid”. Divorced her (lots of reasons other than her dislike of Raptors.....) and now have a Raptor. I love it. Girlfriend loves it too and actually has more confidence in its abilities off road than I do (she’s always been right thus far.....).

It's not that it was too bad ass for me I just hated watching you drive away! Although I liked watching you climb in, kinda reminded me of all those years in my youth trying to help all of those baby sheep over the fence. Over and over.

Honey I’m 5’7” and stilettos or Timberlands, tight short skirt or jeans, I can get me in and out of that truck beautifully. Even my 4’11” mom refuses to let me help climb in lol. I just stand there waiting for her to make it up, ready to catch her if needed and marveling that she never needs me to!

My wife has already laid claim to my current Raptor when I buy the next gen —I work from home in this pandemic so she has access to it all day now and always comes up with some excuse that she needs it over her M4 convert. Really funny as she could have cared less when I got it..until I let her drive it once and now it’s her go to gardening/dirt hauler

First truck, I was a BMW guy but wanted something else. Didnt tell the wife/kids and drove it home. Wife pulls into the drive with the boys and she freaking LOVED it!! (Thank goodness...). She drove it around and couldnt get her out of it.

Boys practically live in it..
