Wife says not a dime in any type of loan. If I want the truck bad enough sell other truck(s) from my collection.
So, That's the plan decide which of the collector type trucks are first on chopping block and hopefully sell 1 or as many as it takes to make happen.
I hope my order takes another 5-7 months to come in. No rush.

If I can't reasonably offord something I don't buy it. Especially not a depreciating vehicle that yes in this market can be resold for more, but doesn't matter if you can't afford it to begin with. I'd rather put that money in a fund and watch it grow. The Jones don't pay my bills, so I don't need to keep up with them.

This is my thought process. If I'm spending at this price point, I'll get a M5. The build quality will be that of a $125K vehicle. I just don't think a F150, no mater what you put in it makes it worth $115K + ADM. I was hoping the R would be something closer to a $10K Price bump over a 37", not $30K.

I drive one more than the other, haha.

I paid cash today, 126k and change with the 10k adm. Not going to lie, it hurt a bit. Once I drove it, I forgot all about that money. For me it was worth every penny, it’s better than I expected and I expected a lot.

I never thought I'd get the email but my R is scheduled for week of 1/16. Now that it's getting real I'm a little nervous about affordability but I'll find a way to make it happen.

I'm just curious to see if anyone else is in the same boat. Or are most not sweating it?

My thought is I can't pass up this opportunity even if it's going to be a second mortgage..

I consulted my wife and she's in total agreement. I'm going to sell one of her kidneys on the black market and then if there's a balance, she said I can sell my grandkid. All he does is poop in his diaper anyway.
