This is my thought process. If I'm spending at this price point, I'll get a M5. The build quality will be that of a $125K vehicle. I just don't think a F150, no mater what you put in it makes it worth $115K + ADM. I was hoping the R would be something closer to a $10K Price bump over a 37", not $30K.
A fully loaded R costs $111,935, a fully loaded 37 costs $90,710. So roughly it’s 20k difference. Just curious how much adm does M5 have? Is 20k ADM expected on most vehicles with 6 digits MSRP(excluding EVs and TRX:))? I don’t expect ADM on executive models but some on sport models. Just don’t have a sense how much it is. Also Escalade V starts at 150k, which seems to somewhat justify the price of R. The 40k difference is paying for nicer interior and the canopy for the 3rd row seats.

So the R package is a $30,575 add on so it's a 30K add on. Even at MSRP of $110-$115K before ADM, its a F-150. Its not worth that kinda money. At least not to me. It it had been a $10K option, I would have added that box to my order all day. If I'm at $115K, I'll be buying a car thats actually worth that kind of money. The last M5 I ordered was about 7% under MSRP back in 2014. You can easily get them at MSRP or below with out much effort. My plan is to see how long it takes for my 2023 37" order to get here. I ordered at MSRP back in September. With simple options like a heated steering wheel, mirrors, and other items being removed by ford along with the fact that it takes forever to actually get a truck with no idea when you'll actually receive it, I'll likely jump ship and order a 2024 M5 late next year if I dont get my 23 fairly early next year. The next gen M5 in 2024 will be a twin turbo V8 with plug in electric pushing out approximately 750HP.

Wife says not a dime in any type of loan. If I want the truck bad enough sell other truck(s) from my collection.
I have no issue with that. Have not had a vehicle loan since 1999.
Because of that we owe less than 7 yrs on house.
