I am going to take my truck in today or tomorrow and move my perch and also remove the sway bar... any minor issues or anything I may need to know before I go ahead and do this?

While shopping for my Raptor have gone back to service dept while at the dealer to ask about them adjusting the shocks to middle perch for me.

First place said it would be about $40 bucks and take about 15-20 minutes. Based on what I have read on here I figured he didnt know what I was talking about.

Second place said "I dont know if they are adjustable you'll have to ask your salesman" I said "they are adjustable, I need to know how much it costs to have it done" he said "check with your salesman" I said "nevermind"

I called the local 4Wheel Parts and they said "We dont do those, call the dealer"

So anybody know someone in central Oklahoma that will do a perch adjustment?

Thanks. Been emailing with them about ordering the truck but they said the best he could do s $1000 off sticker. When I do find the best price may have to run it up the turnpike to do the perch if I dont find a local option.

They were about to let me walk on negotiating/ordering my '10 two and a half years ago when Bill Knight himself chased me out the door and agreed to invoice.

I've been impressed with them so far on the whole buying/servicing experience, although I ended up doing my perch mod myself.:waytogo:

Does anyone know if there are any differences between the 2012 and 2013 shocks? Want to do the second perch mod on my new 2013 and wanted to make sure there isn't anything different I need to know.

There are two options.

First (in small steps that seem simple at first):
1) jack up truck, remove tire
2) start sweating
3) unbolt practically everything in arms reach
4) swear
5) remove coilover assembly
6) compress spring without killing yourself and remove shock
7) prayer of thanks
8) spend 3 minutes moving the blue sleeve and the snap ring up to second notch
9) spend 2 hours reversing steps 6 thru 1

Second option:
Call WSI
