Hey Guys - I have been lurking for a while trying to read as much as possible and I can't quite seem to find a definitive answer on 37s fitting a 35 801a package truck. I have seen some guys running 37" KO2's on stock wheels and suspension, which is probably fine for daily driving but I don't want to lose the total thrash capability of the truck. Also, I want to keep the factory rake because we camp a lot and I don't want a squat truck when loaded. Options I am exploring are:
1) Stock - they fit and you may get minor rubbing on more aggressive driving
2) Eibach pro lift kit with RPG 0" Top Hat
a) This should provide lift but not sure about bottom out protection
3) RPG 1" Top Hat + Frame Support with air bumps
a) Guessing the bumps can be adjusted to prevent the rear from hitting
4) RPG 0" Top Hat, RPG Rear Bump + Frame Stiffner, Eibach Pro lift
I really like the OEM wheels, but I am also considering 0 offset method 703s with the bead grips too. PS - wanting to time this around the drop of the 37x12.50 KO3s coming in 2025.
Let me know what y'all think!
