I did a two step polish on mine and then used a sealant. The sealant will give it the wet appearance and is typically good for about 3-5 months. I also applied a carnauba wax over the sealant to give it the depth. I am like you and it drives me nuts to have my black truck dirty so I use a detail spray to wipe it down. As long as it is only dusty it will not scratch your paint.

I only wax 6 times a year. But I do a clay bar and polish when I do it too. Other than that it just gets speedwax to make the water bead off the paint.

Hmmmm don't get mad but if you have to clay that often you are not doing something right..

Ahhhh finally someone like me! I use Meguires #21 (let it cure for a hour or so before removing) and then the Pinnacle Liquid Souverän Wax. What do you use?

I wax my Molten Orange every 3 to 4 months with Meguires Carnauba wax/no cleaners. I wash when ever the truck gets dirty and dusty with just water and finish with Meguires detail spray! It's a garage queen but the Colorado sun is hard on paint. I can say it always beads water and turns heads while driving it.

I use menzerna polish and wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant. I then use mothers for the carnauba coat. I typically use Meguires' polish for non clear coat vehicles. It seems to work pretty good.

If your truck is only 2 weeks old is the paint even cured yet? :) Any one else using Zaino? I have a buddy that swears buy it and was thinking about it. Black orange peel Raptor, I don't know if the glossier the better.

I am not a pro. I am a doubting Thomas. SHOW ME. My '99 SD and '02 X looked showroom using Blitz carnauba car wax (expensive) and in between Wax-As-U-Dry Eagle One with a "absorber" (cheap) works great. I try to wash my vehicle weekly, but as I get older, work gets more demanding, and kids have ore to do, it is hard to find time. I try to find "doubting Thomas" short cuts. My trucks look showroom and not too hard. For what it is worth, Dave.

Check out a wax called Glare. It's the easiest wax I've ever used and lasts at least a year. I do the 4 step process once a year with incredible results.

:peace:

I like Black Fire sealants and top it off with Pinnacle Souveran(I use the solid wax). Love the soft glow of carnuba.
