So we will be seeing 110k to 1??k raptor R’s. How long till people say, “I can build this off the Gen 3 stocker”. YES IT WILL NOT BE A REAL RAPTOR R. but ….. what can you get for a raptor HP stock motor? How much will it cost to get a raptor R “STYLE” motor.

Why do I feel this will be the next “trend” in aftermarket converted Raptors…

Ya you could always start with a new V8 F150 and build it out to be better than a Raptor R, but you got to be willing to invest the time, money, headaches, and no warranty. If I had the time and money I would have done so, but I am lazy and prefer to just leave the lot with a dialed in machine.

I don't think people will go for 'better'. Just take a V8, supercharge it, upgrade your shocks with lift, get a fake grill and flares and you're close enough.

Why would you start with a perfectly good Raptor? Start with a used truck and build it to be better than an R. For less money. You won't have a warranty either way.
Only argument I could think of would be the factory 5 link for those that don’t want to figure that part out there selves but still understand the benefits.

I personally would probably got the XLT route and start from there. I kinda like the touch screen but I would be replacing essentially everything else and wouldn’t want many other electronics.

Though, I do actually like my air conditioned seats. I use them a lot with the windows down. I don’t run the AC offroad hardly at all.

Save yourself the hassle of building a truck. You can be on the dunes in minutes with 2021 Brenthel Trophy Truck for only 315K.

If you got 150K for a truck, then another 150K is chump change for the real deal.

But none of my buddy's at Starbucks no what that is. Or why there's not massaging seats and 24" display inside.

Would be nice, but most people want something that can be a DD as well as off road rig. I am not ashamed to say it but my current Gen3 is a pavement princess.
