Yeah based on my experience with ZF8 speeds I’ve owned/experienced …I’d pay 5K extra for the raptor to have the ZF instead of this 10 speed. 8 gears just works better …less gear hunting and its just so smooth, quick, and intelligent.

Has anyone tried racing in Baja mode? It feels the fastest to me. I have not timed myself, just seat of the pants feel.
I tried some and not as fast as Sport, but I had Cobb Stage 2 w custom map on e50 (not sure scenario stock).

Just realized TRX can launched at max ~2000 rpm which Raptor (R) can do as well. Given R is at least 300lbs lighter and 2hp lower than TRX, why were quarter mile results so close (12.5 / 12.7)? Also TRX full time AWD should also reduce performance in the later phase. Is the Ford 10-speed so bad compare with ZF 8-speed? Just did some Google and TRX was dynoed as 538rwhp/570lbft while R is 580/533. Still confused that more hp and less weight still cannot gap TRX.
The R starts cutting power as you approach 108 mph to avoid exceeding the speed rating of the tires, allowing the TRX to make up ground. Otherwise, the R would continue to pull away.

The R is faster than that, brake boosting makes the computer cut power= slower times

Then probably 0-60 would make more sense and is also frequently used during daily :)

If one wants to launch as fast as possible, get a Lucid or Tesla Plaid or Hayabusa or GT500. Don’t get a truck.

True! Funny I was a poor kid. Had an 1980 El Camino SS..super slow..305 4 barrel Quadra junk...I learned at an early age. Headers, intake, 750 holley jetted with the smallest jets ( still wouldn't run) back to quadra junk, plugs, split fires...msd ignition system...it ran better but was limited as to what it was....if I wanted a fast car I should've gotten something meant to be fast...I ended up with a good mechanical working chevy but it was what it was....I got my M3 and realized it was meant to do M3 things and did them well...I didn't get my Raptor to launch fast or drive fast...but...if you can get it to dual hat then it is more funner ( yes not a word lol). I admit I want ( can't afford) a Raptor R....but we all love to tweak..modify...improve..go faster..whatever lol. Even with computers we do it..ram upgrade...gpu....cpu....power supply....lol..it's never ending...we always want more better lol
