That vid makes me want to take a weekend trip to AZ and drop of my truck at SDHQ. I heard there are a few hotels with water parks for the kids. Now all I have to do is sell the wife on spending a thursday through sunday in AZ...

I've been dying to put the GoPro in the wheel wells.

I could take you out to some of our fun run spots:waytogo:

The question I have about the vid is what did Outlaw do about the frame itself?.....Unless they have more than one white super crew, they bent the frame on that truck.

Naw... I dont think Ford isnt concerned about this little minor problem...

Plus they would've already had to have thought about it and completed testing for it to show up on the '12's, they're just around the corner. I guarantee the '12's will be the exact same in this area as '10/'11.

Works for me. Appreciate that! I'll get it on the calendar with them.

Here you go...

YouTube - ‪Outlaw Ford Raptor suspension testing‬‏

Problem solved... If you want to drive your Raptor like a $300k luxury prerunner you're going to have to spend some money. Either way you are going to have to pay to play.

That looks nice a hell!!! Very good setup... I do have to say that it would have been nice to know if you over step the trucks limits the frame at the crush points might cause someone a problem... Thats what I miss about working in Product Development at Ford, I would have seen this... Cause I know they had this happen to their development vehicles and they had to fix it... Ford could have added something in the Born in Baja vid that during development we encountered some issues and because of this we had to change the rear frame at the jounce support... Ya, I know I am thinking crazy!!. lol

I know earlier in this thread I brought up the idea of ford making a DVD for the Raptor and some of you mentioned that you thought it was a great idea...

If anyone has connections and wants to push that up, feel free, I don't even care if you make it look like your idea, haha. Seriously though, I won't be able to do anything about it due to lack of the knowledge of who to send it to and also the extremely limited internet connectivity I'll have for the next several months while I'm out of the country.

I think there's a need for this type of education with a truck like this simply because there's a lot of things about the way it works that the average joe doesn't exactly know unless he's been into pre-runners or some type of off road racing for awhile.

I'll try to log on when I can, but most likely, I'll be back on in a few months. Hopefully we can all find some kind of resolution to this whole issue.
