A short update:

The Ford Engineer is currently examining my truck at my local dealer. He is taking pictures and measurements to forward to their engineering department. Ford has already told me they are going to "take care of me" and get things right. From the sound of it, they have no issue "so far" fixing my truck, but it has yet to go through the engineers. Not sure if that will change anything, but regardless I feel good about Ford's response so far.

Will keep you all updated on the final findings, should be in the next day or two.

You're a mechanical engineer huh? Or you take a WAY higher level math class than I did in college.........

Mechanical engineer. I designed shock isolation systems for naval electronics on the Los Angelos, Seawolf, and Virginia class submarines :patriot:. Three semesters of calculus, dynamic systems etc. etc.

We tested blast loading with high explosives in a quarry. :peace:

Bad company, when you compare the kickers to jumps, is that comparing the suspension compressed cycle speed? Are the forces also equal at that point?
