If I have whole fam in truck & running around normal in bad snow/winter on road I’d put it in either normal & 4A or 4H if there’s snow everywhere vs jumping around from partially plowed to packed snow & back again - if it’s absolutely dumping & a lot of other people on road or I’m on a winding unplowed back road may put it in weather/slippery

Realistically though when driving solo or especially if doing some romping around in DEEP snow on street or on fields I put it in sport mode, 4A & TC off (to me this gives much better throttle response & predictability) if very heavy snow or deeper terrain I’ll throw it in 4H & lock diff as well as take VSC off

Sometimes I alternate between Normal & sport but in the same configuration- 4A & TC off

now- having said all that, I’m running studdable Nokian snow tires......so kinda take that all w/ a grain of salt lol, like my wife asked me while I was driving out in the middle of the storm last night - “are the roads bad?” My response- “well I dunno, I guess so, I can’t really tell w/ this thing anymore”

snow tires are the shit

That happened to my wife the other day. She parked the F350 next to the driveway and got about 7 to 8' away and the truck slid across some ice. Funniest thing to watch her reaction on the driveway camera. It ended up sliding a couple more times before it reached dry land. My driveway slopes toward the garage so it wasn't going to go anywhere.

I'm jealous. Its been a couple of years since we've had any snow to speak of....I think there's a snow dome over Middle TN.

Where are you from ? I'm in Ny and we got at least 16" here..lol. have fun

I'm in eastern PA on the edge of the Pocono Mountains.

I went down this afternoon to have some more hooning fun and found a snow wall had been plowed by whoever plowed a medical office that is on the bottom of the driveway/entrance road going up the hill into the Kmart. Big bummer!

except for the buried parking curb. done that before

Same. Many years ago and never again.

Play in parking lots like old fart - heck ya, but check for curbs and other wierdness before the snow flies.

I assume you took the nannies off or running in 4wd snow, they are quite muted anyway. I do enjoy be a little baja in the deep wetter snow too - with and without locker on depending on what I want to do.
