The hard part about answering this question is the fact that there are so many variables that can affect the outcome of a build. Choosing between 2.5" race series shocks to 4.5 " race series shocks can raise the build by thousands of dollars. We don't build a cookie cutter prerunner and try to meet the needs of every customer. If anyone was interested in doing a truck of this caliper the best option would be to call us personally at the shop to discuss a build, or to come down to the shop and check out the raptor or any of the many other builds we have going on. We strive to build a truck to a customers request, which changes from customer to customer.
Translation: A lot of ****ing money.

It's all depends on the caliper of the build. This truck is out of many people price range, but the ride is unrivaled. If some one was interested in taking their Raptor to the next level, the best option would be to come down to the shop and check out the raptor in person and discuss what exactly it is they want out of their truck. Not all have to go to the level John went to to enjoy the desert.

We all know offroad isn't a cheap hobby, we have thousands of hours into John truck to make it the beast you see today. That said, a truck with a Front Long Travel install and rear bed cage with long travel leaf springs isn't out of many people's price range when you look the price of bolt on performance accessories.
Oh I'm not doggin' you guys, hope it wasn't taken that way... builds like this are EXCEPTIONAL... and I completely agree can't just be "quoted" without going over multiple possibilities.

Great stuff... I'm INSANELY jealous.

I understand I re wrote my post , damn the Internet and no tone! Haha

I just don't want anyone to think that long travel and rear modification are out of their limits. We can build anyone a Raptor from a simple front and rear install to a full build such as Johns.

Please no more Ranger talk, Go to a Ranger website already!

Blah blah blah.

If you want me to leave, make a thread with a poll. If majority wants me to leave, I will. Till then, I'll talk about my ranger as much as I damn well want to.

All I did was comment on how awesome HM's work is, and that they would be the company I would get to do my truck.
Which just so happens to be a ranger, because not all of us are loaded enough to be able to afford a raptor.

Who is HM and where did they come from?!?!

In all seriousness I don't have the time to keep up with forums like I used to.

Nice build, good thought process and nice welds. I'll keep you guys in mind.

Not too shabby!

Just drooling at the picture showing the rear axle at its limit compared to the position of the bump stop. Yeah, that's A LOT of travel. Looking forward to seeing the rest of this.

PART 3 of the John Bowers Luxury Raptor Build by HM Racing Design

Inside the cab John wanted all the creature comforts that makes the Ford Raptor such a awesome desert truck, but with an HM twist. For starters we started with the seats. John specifically asked for aftermarket suspension seats, but still had the stock raptor look.

Next was the dash. John wanted the dash to look as stock as possible, after all it was unique to the Raptor platform. Therefore, every after market component was wired into the auxiliary switches on the Raptor, and the race radio and intercom hidden away in the center console.

And our favorite part of the inside... the seats still utilize the power sliders!
