Okay, I know this is a known issue and I’ve read (I think) most posts and threads about this issue.

Since I’ve bought my 2012 gen 1 raptor i have gotten the hill descend and service advance track codes to throw every time I steer max left or right and am going forward or backward while steering.

I’ve replaced:

The clocks spring (twice - since I thought I installed it wrong first time)
Steering position sensor (twice - for same reason)
And today I replaced all four abs sensor
New 3rd backlight - (aftermarket)

What am I missing here? Do I just need to live with this issue? Driving me crazy!

I've never had this, but my wife's expedition did, and it turned out to be the abs motor

That truck is a little older than my Super Duty (its a '19) but I dealt with this issue for awhile myself. The pitman arm nut came loose and cause some play in the steering wheel before the wheels would actually move. Go through all of your steering linkage and make sure its all tight. For this issue I had, there was a discrepancy in the steering wheel angle vs wheel speed. If the wheel is turned the truck expects wheel speed to be a tad different between left and right. Worth looking into.

This definitely sounds like a possibility. When I got it strangely enough, one one the sway bar linkages was bent - never seen it before. There might be more off to your point..

Like I said, its worth looking into. In the super duty groups it comes up a bit and as weird as it sounds, a lot of times that pitman arm nut or some slop in the front end linkage is the culprit. Wheel speed sensors or the wiring going to the sensors is another popular issue causing the lights. One last thing I can recall was some electrical connector in the rear of the truck getting wet/corroded.

Update:

So I took off both from wheels and checks all the hardware to see if anything was loose. On the front let, the lower control arm knuckle nut WAS loose. I tightened it of course, and then also check all my wiring for the new wheel speed sensors - all looks good.

I did further diagnose the issue as now only happening when moving forward with the steering wheel maxed out to the left.

Even with the nut that I tightened, I am still getting the two codes.

I don't think its anything in the rear as its only happening when turning (but what do I know).

I checked the brake light again too - no moisture.

Could the steering rack or the brake switch sensor be an issue? (the brake light seems less likely to me because its happening when I'm in forward motion)

Assuming you've read through the main threads that I did when searching for this... Have you tried to see if there are any codes or things not working in Forscan? A recent thread has some information about the ABS module/pressure:
