Sorry for the crappy iphone pics, but you can appreciate the difference.

WHen I had my 40 Rigid wired by my audio shop, they suggested I do the HID swap. He told me its a 30 minute install and would be $150 installed, so I said WTF...

Maxcar 6000k white HIDs. The light is very white compared to stock and appears to put out twice as much light.

Just don't use Xentec from ebay. I bought a pair of H.I.D. 6000K and they kept flickering and sometimes they wouldn't work at all. Then one day driving home at night they blew my low beam and high beam fuses. So if anybody knows of a good brand to try let me know. =)

DDMtuning has great prices on their HIDs. Should cost around $60 for a Bi Xenon set (hi/low beam). I wish i knew about them when i bought mine
