Just took a closer look at my invoice....I was too excited when signing the docs that I didn't really look at the fine-print - but with all this waiting I have time to kill.

So...who else paid these?

Dealer Inventory tax - $93.67 (fine print says this is not a government tax)
License - Title and "Other Fees" - $120.50
Documentary Fees - $125

This is of course in addition to the ADV and other mandatory Ford extras.

Yes. Dealer says that is done with all vehicles now since they ship from Ford with an empty tank.

well, it looks like you got the same fees that everyone else did. i heard some dealers will remove one or two of them, but for the most part, everyone pays them.

Makes me feel a bit better, but I will fight the inventory tax. Mine is an order and will never sit in their inventory. I'm sure there will be a reason why it still applies!

Those fees probably depend on your state. Does TX issue plates right at the dealer? PA does and we would charge similar fees at the motorcycle dealership, half to the state and half to pay notary/overheard of your finance person.

you do not have to pay the Documentary Fees - $125. Texas law states you can pay but not mandatory doc fee. that is money to the dealer for doing paper work. I printed this out and showed the dealer and they took it off no questions asked.

I did pay the fuel charge, but when I picked up the truck I made sure it had a full tank of gas. Got my raptor mid dec. If you are i need of a great ford dealership in TX let me know and I will tell you who I dealt with. It was the best car dealership I have dealt with.

I did not have any of those fees. The only "added" fee was the ~$90 for a full tank of gas. Everything else is bs.

I got charged A/C tax fee, battery tax fee, tire tax fee, we are taxed to death up here!! I think the delivery fee was 1200 bucks too. But I did get the dealer to throw in a bed mat and a shelby coffee mug for free and tax free!
