Here are mud grapplers on Double standard Methods. 0 offset on a 17" wheel. 35x12.50R17 tire. They stick out a little in the back but not as much in the front due to top perch and that pulls the tires in some so if you stay stock it will stick out like the back or at least a little more than what mine do right now.

I got 30K with thread left and ran them at TRR. I think I can get 40k out of them. I got over 40K on my 4runner that had the 33x11.50R16 and sold it with them on. The trick is to balance every 10K and rotate every 5k. If you don't they won't last. Also, I have no problem on the HWY with them, but they are like an airplane going down the road so if you don't want the noise you want to go with something else. I like it personally. I'm on my second set due to new wheels and wanted to keep my stock wheels with tires on them for either TRR or if i trade it in.

Just FYI i've got almost 80K total and on my 3rd set just starting in. They balance out very well for the kind and size of the tire.

Wow! Thanks guys! Your posts helped us a lot! Now we understand what perch mod.means :) and "ISFAST" your truck looks great and thanks for the pics. Helped so much! Seeing the 0mm offset up close helped. We were thinkn we "needed" 20's but after seeing your truck it def. Doesn't seem "necessary". Now of course we are back going back and forth ab the grapplers and toyos..lol bc we really loved the look of the grapplers from go but were afraid with us using more for regular daily use they wouldn't last us no time but maybe with good maintance we might be ok after hearing the mileage on yours. We plan to put stock tires back on during winter months. We live in northern indiana.

I appreciate all yalls help! Thank u!

i had mud grapps on my last truck. i loved them but they were very loud! i like it but some dont...they do seem to wear faster than some of the other mud tires i ran. u should also look into the bfg KM2's. just for an example for u. i put -5 mm offset rims on mine and they rubbed at full lock. i am mid perch now and its perfect but i dont do hardcore jumping like some of the other members here. if u plan on doing jumps and whoops and all that def do 0 or in the + offset the closer to the stock offset the better.

just IMO 20's dont look right on these trucks. i like the way 17's or even 18's look. i went with 17" fuel octanes and the look great.

I don't agree I just put 20's on my truck and I think it looks pretty bad A$$
17's just have so much sidewall on such big tire looks old school to me. But I guess it is all in personal preferrance and what using truck for.

Yes after seeing the truck posted with all the different angles and pics...My husband is def. leaning toward 17's to 18's. Tires and wheels are stressful! LOL you look and look..and its hard to just bite the bullet and buy some.

But tomorrow is the day! I am calling on a few different wheels and think we are still decided on the Toyos. We love the "look" of the grapplers. But in reality there isnt even much mud in Indiana. Its mostly gravel. LOL

We want the truck to look like we jump, and mud in it..but I dont know if we ever will. We may try badlands once or twice just for fun. Idk. But we want the look. We may change more than we anticipated after being on the forum. :) we have learned SO MUCH just from reading these posts and threads.

We wanted to change the rims and tires, get a stealth bumper, bed cover, a stripe and eventually a super charger. but the super charger last. Heck after seeing this forum.. the options are endless :peace:

Big help with all the pics. Thanks again everyone.

My last truck had 20's wrapped with 35" mud grapps I did love the way it looked but it was obviously a street queen. I think the bad ass Offroad look it has needs more side wall and less rim. Plus if u ever do some trail or mud riding u will quikly see how 20's with only 35's is not the safest option for ur rims. U don't have enough sidewall to protect them.

U r right tho its all personal opinion as far as looks. I guess u just need to ask itself what am I really goin to do in this truck.

plus i think 17's just ride so much nicer than 20's (im one who doesnt like the look of 20's on anything). my brother in law just went from 20's on his 250 Harley to 17's, and we both thought it road so much better.

Honestly we probably will not do much off roading. We Do want a more aggressive looking tire. Mud Terrain almost a must.

We think we have made a decision on tire. Toyo Open Country Mud. 35/12.50/20. These tires seem like a good fit for how we will be driving the truck. While I know they are not as aggressive as Grapplers ect. but seem to be a good fit for us.
These things are in total opposition to each other. If you're not going to be doing much off-roading then these are a terrible choice. They're going to produce a ton of road noise, get bad wear, and not very good road grip. I don't mean to call you a poser but that's exactly what you're doing. It's your truck though so do whatever you want! I just don't understand why you'd even buy a Raptor if you don't intend to use it off-road.....

Have you ever driven a truck on pavement with mud terrain tires for long periods?

If I were you I'd rethink my decision and go with something in the T/A category like the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A rather than an M/T class tire. These still give you an aggressive looking tire but with much less road noise and much better pavement performance.
