Help on new tire choice..Goodyear Ultraterrain or...

Onto my 3rd set of tires...down to goodyear duratrack, the new goodyear ultra terrain at. Or nitto ridge grappler. Thinking about going up to 35's. Any feedback? Im mostly road, snow and weather in midwest. Thanks!!

My father has these on his Tahoe they are great in the snow and mud, not too noisy either.

For the Raptor, the Nitto tires would be preferable to any Goodyear. Lots of guys here really like them, especially guys who actually run their rigs in 4 wheel drive once in a while.

My next set might be the Dune Grapplers...crazy looking tire but it has a ‘T’ speed rating, up to 122 mph..

Lots of guys run the RG's. Pretty much all of the Nitro's are popular maybe except the highway looking ones. I have never driven them on snow, so I can't comment on that. Maybe some of the other guys will chime in.

I put a set of Ultra Terrains on my Gen2, they are lighter and quieter than the BFG KO2's they replaced, only have a few hundred miles on them and cant comment on snow, but rain and mud they are equal to the tires they replaced.

If your willing to considering mud terrains, I encourage you to check out the new Yokos, I run them on mine and really like them! Nitto and Toyo are pricy but the Yokos are way more affordable and just as good. I ran a dirt drainage ditch at about 80mph, hitting small jumps and they were super grippy!

Another good affordable option are the Falken Wildpeak lineup, those were my second choice.

Tire buying tip, if you find the tires you want on Amazon for less, go to discount tire and they will price match. They take into account shipping cost but if your a prime member and get free shipping, you just saved a bunch over buying at the retail price and you don't have to wait for them!

I disagree. I hated the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I went back to the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, which I'd been running for the last 8 years on other trucks and back to being happy again. The Duratracs perform way better in the wet terrain types (rain, snow, mud) we have in the pacific NW.
