GEN 2 Help needed! Both key locked inside the car

A friend of mine in Romania just got he’s 2020 new Raptor. He called me and asking for help because one of he’s friend touched the numbers on the car and the car get locked with both key inside. The numbers was not programed. What is the chance to open the door.

The engine compartment was open, watching the engine. Another friend touched the numbers on the door but nothing happen only after the closed the engine compartment all doors locked.

Problem solved. Some guys came with a tool and opened mechanical in 2 minutes. They use something what we see in movies instead of the key.

Problem solved. Some guys came with a tool and opened mechanical in 2 minutes. They use something what we see in movies instead of the key.

That tool used to be called a Slim Jim, and it used to be available at auto parts stores. Some law enforcement officers still carry them to rescue motorists who have self-stranded. It won't work on a lot of newer vehicles, though, and I am genuinely surprised that it worked on a Raptor.

Wait. How is that even possible? I’ve left my key in the car before and used the finger button on the outside to lock it and it wouldn’t.

Someone touched the numbers on the door and the guy just recieved the car and the number was not programed.

That’s not how it works. Also, the door is programmed from the factory.
