So Ive got about an extra 5-6K I m going to put into the truck and Id like to know what route you guys would go. Heres what Im thinking. My drive home from Midland somehow put a huge gash in my right fender flair and it needs to be repaired so Im thinking now might be a good time to upgrade to Boatechs. What do you think would give me most bang for the buck?

Pending mods Option 1 :

1)Boatech Fenders Front and Rear : $ 550 front + 700 rear = $1250

2) Fender Liners =$?

3) Install and paint $ 2500

4) 4 x Toyo MT 17x 13.5 = $1100 ( I like my stock street bead locks so Im keeping them)

5) Install on my Billet oil Gears from TSS ( just got these in) = $300

6) Upgraded Brake $200 lines Front rotors $350 and Pads $200 =$ 750

Total =$5900 -$6400 depending on how much I can do myself.

Option 2 :

1) Paint and fix stock fenders bumper and grill = $1500

2) Install on my Billet oil Gears from TSS ( just got these in) = $300

3) Upgraded Brake $200 lines Front rotors $350 and Pads $200 =$ 750

4) Svc Upper Control Arms $950

5) R&R Tie Rods = $ 700

6) Deavers HD Springs =$ 1350

Total =$ 5500 give or Take

Option 3:
1) Paint and Fix Stock Fenders Grill and Bumpers $1500

2) Fox 3.0 Front and Back $4700

3) Oil gear Install = $300

$6200 - $6500

Option 4:

Livernois Short Block , keeping stock heads and cam just going to dial up the boost.

$5500.

Current Mods:
Full Whipple Kit Headers and Exhaust, Mid Perch... Other than small cosmetic things its pretty much stock. I ve put 16K miles on her in the last 7 months so she works her ass off and spends a good amount of time hitting rig roads as much as 700 mile hikes across Texas. If Im missing something essential to my list let me know.

Bump kit?

Really think its that crucial of a mod? they seem all expensive for what you get. I plan on picking one eventually but everyone is so damn proud of them. I can scoop this later I just wanted to get the big stuff out of the way. I like to spend money on what I can feel right away.

It's one of the top priority mods for anyone who is going to push the truck hard off road. Not only does it give you piece of mind with your frame, it keeps the rear of the truck more firmly planted resulting in more control. I'd go with that over a UCA on the priority list. Just my $.02...

the rear off the truck needs much more attention than the front. mid perch the front(as u have already) then upgrade the rear then worry about the front

My two cents:

Fenders: You don't really need the rear bedsides if you go with 37s. Just front Boatecs, 37s, shave the fender wells. I believe you will feel a difference in terms of traction/performance depending on which tires you choose, but still there is some loss of power. Not too significant, but I could tell.

Fender Liners: Try not to go the route of custom fender liners. A) They are expensive and B) If you go with 37s and you drive her hard, there will be some rubbing and all that beautiful work will go to hell. If it is a street queen then yes, fender liners. Or if you have money to blow and don't care.

Suspension: I would go with the Fox 3.0 setup. Then, when you have another hunk of cash invest in the bumpstop and leaf springs. The shocks will not disappoint you. I loved them on MajorAR's truck, I bet you will really really really feel the difference.

Since what you feel is more important at this time than what you get, the new shocks and the 37s will do that for you.

Happy to see another person doing so much work on their truck. Good luck
