Does this look familiar to anybody. My blower fan started making all kinds of racket, so I dropped it out and removed this from it. Does it look like maybe it’s a piece of my truck or something that bounced in there from the road. Everything seems to be working. The blend doors all operate as they are supposed to. I’m just hoping it’s not going to end up being something that causes me problems down the road.

It's some kind of fastener, but if everything is working ok, just forget about it. If it causes problems down the road, it's gonna cause problems down the road.....

That looks like the tab the actuators hook up to. If it fell out of the blower motor hole, I bet your recirc door is broken
