Leave the key locked inside don't give out your door code open the truck with your Ford pass app

Based on what I have tried it would work. Once door is open ( by Keypad or remotely?) a FOB left in the truck would allow someone to start and drive it. I will try remotely to make sure, but I think it will work.

I have a device that allows you to open a door by putting a wedge in top of door then a rod is used to push the unlock button. I will not use it on my new Raptor to see if it works. Does anyone know if the inside sensors would detect this type of break-in? This is why I don’t want to leave a FOB in the console safe.

A locksmith will open that bad boy up in no time. You might want to call one in your area....

I swear I wrote out this post last weekend, but clearly I didn't hit "Post Quick Reply"...

First and foremost I'd like to thank all of you who took the time to provide such great advise. Its pretty cool knowing that I'm a big part of such a strong and supportive brotherhood. I love you all very much.

So it turns out the lock was not reset. Once I was able to take a good look at the thing I realized that I never was locked out of my ConoleVault. I installed it Saturday and was so worried about being on time for a dinner engagement that I somehow convinced myself that I ****** up and reset the code...Turns out I was doing it wrong and I hadn't changed anything. ALL GOOD!

So that's one Stubby Antenna install (all by myself).
One Console Vault install also done all by myself (gonna take on resetting the code from 0-0-0-0 next time a have a free day).
And I know I keep saying I'll get to it, but next week I'm gonna show my 17 year old son what it is to get his hands dirty. He's on spring break, so I'm thinking that with his help we can knock off switching out those valve caps (I picked up four sweet matte black ones at PepBoys). Shouldn't take but a day or two once we watch the YouTube tutorial a couple of times.
