So what is the call on year. Most race tracks; they are good for 10 years from the date as they dont always come out the year they are rated. 2010 helmets came out in 2011.

I was planning to have one of my kids use a Snell 95 before this even came out.

So are we good with any year?

The only difference between a SA and an M is the SA is for motorsports and its fire proof. the safety rating is the same

NO! HAhahaa. I had a riding buddy buy another riding buddies helmet. A $400 flip face. He buys it, puts it on and had forgotten the guy smoked. YEEEE UK! Sweat and Smoke!

I ruined my back up helmet using it snow mobiling. Wet and sweaty for a week before I remembered to un pack it. Now its just a crusty POS!

There are some differences on the closed face. Eye opening is smaller.
