I have been in my 2013 Screw for a year now done a few easy mods I am looking at installing some lighted recon sill protectors. Needing help on which wire to connect to, I am not an electrical person by nature but these seem simplistic I want them to come on when the doors are opened( with the dome light). I have been into the wire groupings.on both side of the doors but am not sure which wire to hook into. Any helps especially pics would be greatly appreciate. Recons instructions are very vague.

Welcome to the forum! I would recommend, instead of attempting to splice into the wiring leading into the doors themselves, join the wiring for the Recon lighting and run it to the interior lighting relay or fuse in the interior fuse box. To find the fuse box, if you are sitting in the passenger front seat, remove the trim panel by your right foot, once removed you will see the fuse box cover right behind it. The inside of that cover should tell you which fuse or relay controls the interior lights. You can go to just about any auto parts store to obtain a piggy back style fuse that you can use to wire into for the Recon lighting. That way, you aren't cutting into the wiring harness itself and creating a possible weak point that could wind up with a short in time.

Thanks that was my next alternative, but what about wiring the driver side? Do I run the wire from the sil over to the passenger side and connect them both to that piggy back fuse?
